What gear do you use?
I use primarily Sony and Fujifilm equipment. I am not a gear snob but there are certain situations where it does matter. There are many examples of photos that are known by the entire world, captured with all types of equipment. Even your cellphone can capture something noteworthy. My favorite camera bodies for bird photography are the Sony A9 series and a fast prime telephoto. My favorite travel and street camera is the FujiX100 series. They allow for quality images without being noticeable on the move. Just about any modern camera can capture photos with resolution for great prints.
Why schedule a photo walk?
I like to share and facilitate creative growth. Maybe I can help you with your camera settings, perspective, or just be a source of creative energy. Going on a dedicated photo walk was the biggest change I made to create images at a higher level than a snapshot. Dedicated time for photography is needed to learn.
What services can you provide?
I can photograph your family member at sporting event, take product images that will increase sales or social media presence, provide event photography for that unique day in need of a dedicated professional, or work with you to improve your own skills. Let’s connect to discuss the opportunities.
What’s the price point for these services?
A photo walks are typically between $100-$250 depending on distance and time involved. I want to keep prices as low as I can while providing a service that meets your needs. Photo walks include time discussing your camera system and lenses. We will discuss skills to capture your intended image. I will also help you with editing your photos using Lightroom. There are many options for interesting photos. Surely we can have a dedicated photo walk at parks, nature preserves, local cities, or even just your neighborhood.
